Overview

PrivyVoice is designed with privacy in mind. It is a completely offline, local-first meeting workbench. Your audio recordings, transcriptions, and metadata never leave your device unless you explicitly export them.

1. User Data Collection

PrivyVoice does NOT collect, harvest, or transmit any personal, sensitive, or user recording data.

Specifically, the application does not collect:

  • Personal identifiers (name, email, credentials)
  • Your audio recordings or voice files
  • Transcribed texts or generated AI structures
  • Usage statistics, telemetry, or analytics data
  • Device information or location data

2. User Data Handling

All voice transcription and AI processing are handled locally on your machine:

  • Voice Transcription: Audio files are transcribed using local Whisper models running entirely on your computer's hardware.
  • Local AI Inference: Any structural summaries or AI processing is executed locally via Ollama on your machine. No data is sent to cloud-based AI providers or external APIs.

3. User Data Storage

All meeting records, audio files, transcripts, and settings are stored locally on your device:

  • Audio & Transcripts: Saved within the app's local database and local sandboxed storage.
  • Configuration settings: Ollama preferences, Whisper model selections, and layout settings are stored locally on the device.

This data is kept locally on your machine and can be cleared at any time by deleting the meetings within the app or uninstalling the app.

4. User Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to anyone. Because PrivyVoice operates without any remote backend or server infrastructure, your data remains fully under your own control on your machine.
